• We DO utilize anonymity in our messaging system -- your personal email is NEVER displayed on the site.

STORAGE

All postings are stored in our database until they are marked for deletion, either by the poster or by the UpHook administrators. We may archive or backup the database periodically-- including records of all posts still active at the time of archiving.

Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

ARCHIVING BY THIRD PARTIES

Some web sites that aren't affiliated with UpHook may be capable of archiving or otherwise making UpHook postings publicly available (i.e. search engine caching)

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

UpHook may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
