This site is a team operation. It was created from the ground up in our spare time between the months of January and April 2006. The design was a very gradual process-- I DO have a full-time job as well as a very active social life. The site was simply a side project-- a by-product of a little free time and a genuine interest in making a service that people would actually find useful.

This website was designed for ease-of-use. We attempted to eliminate pointless features so people could focus on what they came here for-- searching, posting, and sending messages. At the same time, we made sure the site design itself wasn't ugly, unlike some other free dating sites. The site should be fully usable by all major browsers, even with JavaScript turned off.

This is our personal project and we am very involved in making sure it runs efficiently. As such, we frequently list ideas and developments in the site blog with the intention of getting some feedback from readers and users on how the site might be improved upon.

My intention is not to make a lot of money. However, it would be nice to simply cover the cost of hosting and maybe help pay some student loan bills (which is the reason for the ads).
